The first barbeque de la vacation.

Hi everyone. Now we know what to do the blogs just can't stop. Tonight we had our first barbeque of the holiday. Nothing too fancy just pork escalopes and beefburgers plus lots of salad with melon to follow. When you think about it thats a day sightseeing on the bikes, salad for dinner and melon for afters I think tomorrow I need to buy a pair of pink dungerees. Ann still thinks that I love cooking but I have told her that its more that I dont like washing up. Hppy days xx

A Day in Bastogne

Hi bloggwatchers. Well here we are at last in Bastogne the site of the famous Battle of the Bulge. Today we visited a couple of museums  depicting the story of the 101st airborne infantry and their galant defence despite overwhelming odds. The town is very pleasant and despite Ann's concerns they are quite cycle friendly. This did not stop Ann getting off and pushing whenever there was a car in close proximity. We are staying at Camping Reynville a three start site with loads of facilities. The shower blocks are superbe with power showers but no toilet seats (How does that add up?).
So far all is great have helped a Dutch single mum put her tent up and an elderly Belgian gentleman carry his shopping (The Saint that I am).Having a great time. Love to all. Chas
